Shopping Genie is unlike other shopping apps. While all shopping apps maintain a list of the things you need to buy, Shopping Genie goes one step further and maintains a second list of Suggestions. These Suggestions are based on previous purchases you made and organized so that the items you're most likely to need at any time are near the top of the list. As shown in Fig. 1, the two lists are displayed simultaneously, one above the other. At any time an item from the Suggestions can be added to the Shopping List with a simple tap on it's name or checkbox.

When you've bought an item in the Shopping List, just tap it's checkbox, and it will move to the bottom of the Suggestions List. As time goes by, that same item will slowly work it's way back up the Suggestions List, making it easy to find the next time you need it.

More than one Shopper? No Problem! Shopping Genie makes it easy for several people to share a Grocery list. The first time the Sync button is tapped you will be prompted for an email address and password to create an account. This account will maintain a copy of your Shopping and Suggestions lists on the cloud. Any other person using Shopping Genie with that same email and password, can then sync with your list. After making changes to a list, tapping the Sync button will send those changes to the cloud and add any changes on the cloud back to the list. Others using the list can then just tap the same Sync button and their list will be updated in a similar manner.

Tired of that tiny cellphone keyboard? Just tap on a microphone icon and you can speak the name of what you want to add.
